Linwood Gardens’
Annual free summer event

SUNDAY, AUGUST 9 at 4 pm

SHAKE returns to Linwood Gardens for its sixth year!

The Comedy of Errors is a 90-minute fast, fun, and physical adaption of the classic Shakespeare play by Perry-based theater company, Shake on the Lake. A cast of five actors brings 15 characters to life with music and energy, telling the story of two sets of identical twins who were accidentally separated at birth.

Pre-show music will welcome you, so if you hear music you’re not late! Actor Q&A following the show.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Carry-in, carry-out picnics welcome. Please leave pets at home.

In case of inclement weather, the show will be moved to Valley View Farm Barn, 3145 York Rd E, Piffard, NY 14533.

If you can’t make this performance, there are others at other cool locations! See all show times at Shake on the Lake’s ticketing platform!

There are many different flowers at Linwood Gardens than just tree peonies. Here is a list of some of the early native spring ephemerals and flowering trees that appear before the Festival.
